SVP Bioinformatics
Sayoni leads the development of bioinformatics pipelines that generate insights from PrecisionLife’s combinatorial analytics platform to unravel the complexities of disease biology and advance precision medicine solutions.
She is a computational biologist with expertise in structural and functional genomics, systems biology and large-scale multi-modal data analysis, and earned her Ph.D. from University College London. Before joining PrecisionLife, Sayoni developed tools for gene function prediction, genetic variant interpretation and coordinated a major academic structural bioinformatics project.
She has led combinatorial analyses of more than 40 disease studies, spanning neurodegenerative, autoimmune, cardiometabolic, women’s health and post-viral syndromes – providing new insights and highlighting opportunities for precision medicine approaches in complex diseases.
