Executive Chairman
Ray most recently served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Biogen, based in Cambridge, Mass. Previously, he was Chief Information Officer at Novartis Pharmaceuticals A.G. based in Basel Switzerland. He has also held other senior technology leadership positions with other global companies, including PepsiCo and Citibank.
He currently serves on several boards, including UMass Memorial Health, Point32Health (merger of HarvardPilgrim Healthcare and Tufts Healthcare), MedRhythms, PrecisionLife (Chairman) and RockStep Solutions (Chairman). In these Board Director roles, Ray provides strategic insight into corporate governance and critical business technology issues/trends. Ray also participates in company Advisory Board roles including Nanowear, BPGBio and AgilixHealth.
Ray holds a B.S. in computer science from Montclair State University and has participated in extensive Executive Education Programs at Harvard University and IMD (Lausanne, Switzerland). Ray now resides in Essex, Ct.
