PrecisionLife Appoints Bill Keating as Chief Commercial Officer, Diagnostics and Healthcare
Seasoned executive joins PrecisionLife to drive commercial strategy for new first-in-class precision medicine tests to predict and prevent complex, chronic diseases
OXFORD, UK – 8 January 2025 – PrecisionLife, a leading precision medicine company focused on complex chronic diseases, announces the appointment of Bill Keating as Chief Commercial Officer, Diagnostics and Healthcare to lead the commercialization of precision medicine applications from its range of innovative new Mechanostic® tests in complex chronic diseases.
With over 20 years of experience in senior Corporate and Business Development roles for leading companies, such as Philips Healthcare, Zephyr AI, and Foundation Medicine, Bill has a proven record of driving impactful market adoption for cutting-edge diagnostic applications at the forefront of precision medicine.
Bill will lead the commercial strategy and business development efforts for PrecisionLife's Diagnostics and Healthcare division. His expertise will be pivotal in advancing the company's clinical applications and first-in-class precision medicine tests that enable the prediction and prevention of chronic diseases that affect over 5 billion patient lives.
The non-invasive genotypic precision medicine tests, built on the company’s proprietary disease insights, accurately identify risk factors and the specific biological causes of complex disease in individuals. The results guide personalized interventions and treatment selection, inform clinical care pathways, and enable rapid differential triage of referrals.
"I am thrilled to join PrecisionLife at such a transformative time", said Bill Keating. "I’m impressed by its unique ability to deliver mechanism-based insights and risk prediction in a massively scalable way across over 50 complex, chronic diseases. Our test platform and clinical decision support tool is making personalized treatment recommendations possible in multiple diseases for the first time. This has significant transformational impact for healthcare – predicting and preventing chronic diseases, maximizing patient outcomes, and reducing the inefficiencies that arise from inaccurate referrals, ineffective prescriptions and progression of unmanaged disease."
"We’re delighted to welcome Bill to the PrecisionLife team at a pivotal time for the company", said Steve Gardner, CEO of PrecisionLife. "Our precision medicine solutions are enabling us to build pioneering clinical solutions with multiple international healthcare partners that provide rapid clinically actionable insights and enhance patient care and outcomes in diseases that have lacked adequate diagnostic tools for far too long. Bill’s extensive experience in scaling companies with high revenue potential and deep understanding of the diagnostics landscape make him the perfect fit to drive our commercial growth."
