Gert is an entrepreneur with over 35 years of experience of driving new innovations, including solutions for precision medicine and digital health.
He invented and developed some of the novel solutions which are the foundation of PrecisionLife’s core technology for combinatorial analysis. He is the principal inventor of our patents for the PrecisionLife platform and has won awards for his innovations.
With a PhD in systems science from the Technical University of Denmark Gert pioneered in the use of mathematical methods from theoretical physics (based on symmetries and conservation laws) for modeling and analysis of complex systems in many dimensions.
These methods were originally designed for rule-based systems and decision support but later extended to discovery and validation of genetic signatures in case-control datasets.
