PrecisionLife CEO, Dr Steve Gardner, joins guest speakers from Roche and Merck at the International Conference on Precision Regenerative Medicine, hosted by the Taiwan Ministry of Health and Welfare.
Dr Gardner will present virtually on the topic of digital gvernance in the development of precision medicines, in his talk: 'Case Studies Using Secure Patient Data Repositories To Enable Precision Medicine Applications'.
View the agenda for the event below.
Taiwan's Ministry of Health and Welfare (MOHW) established a National Biobank Consortium in 2019 to build a comprehensive biomedical data network to meet the demands of the country's biopharma and healthcare industries, rapidly becoming an important research resource and playing a vital role in Taiwan's response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Additionally, earlier this year, the MOHW introduced a Regenerative Medicine Bill to advance innovative precision medicine possibilities and accelerate the development of regenerative medicines.
Building on this, MOHW has invited international medical experts, clinical researchers, and biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies alongside the operators of the health data infrastructure in Taiwan to share best practices and the current progress of drug development and precision medicine.
We are developing an in-house pipeline of novel early-stage drug discovery targets with patient stratification biomarkers and precision repositioning assets for co-development with biopharma partners in over 40 chronic diseases.
